The Gold Coast Surf Academy provides Surfing Lessons for all ages, experience levels, as well as team building for schools and corporate groups. The academy is situated at the famous Kurrawa Surf Club at Broadbeach Central which is now known as the family friendly central hub of the Gold Coast.
The Gold Coast Surf Academy was founded by extreme sportsman, veteran surfer and internationally renowned surfing coach, Johnny Preston. He believes that riding a wave is one of life’s many rewards which people of most ages can enjoy.
The equipment is specifically designed for learning and to protect the student from injury. Every coach has a minimum of 5 years surfing experience. All coaches hold current First Aid, Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification along with a Surf Rescue Certificate and Level 1 Surf Coach Certificate with Surfing Queensland or the Australian National Training Authority.
